I heard about this on a television show and liked what I saw there so I
decided to check it out a little more. After reading the reviews on
Amazon I decided I would try it. I love it and I have had guests comment
on it also they wanted to know where I got it. It totally meets up to
my expectations. Wonderful. One thing I wish it had is the option of a
being a hand held. American Standard should make both types available.
Love this water-saving showerhead. The price for the chrome showerhead
was great. All three water spray settings work well with the first (and
default)setting providing the gentlest spray. In the winter, the first
spray setting is the coldest temperature wise while the third setting
provides the warmest temperature water and strongest spray. In the
summer, the temperature difference between the water spray settings does
not matter to me, but I definitely notice the temperature differences
between the first and third settings in the winter. I highly recommend
purchasing this showerhead because it offers the capability to save
water when needed with a setting to increase water flow for rinsing
shampoo/conditioner from hair. This showerhead is very large and
bell-shaped which was disconcerting and ugly at first. But I have come
to like the ugliness because the showerhead works so well, and I think
the shape is cute. I cannot say anything at this time about durability
of this product as I purchased this product in November, 2011.
Easy to install (so easy, no directions included, probably a mistake in
mine only, but wasn't a problem). The shower feels powerful even on the
1.5 gpm setting, so we are using that, and saving lots of water,
hopefully saving our septic system too.
We ordered the American Standard FloWise 3 function shower head because
we have poor water pressure in our apartment. When the shower head is
set to 1.5gpm function we don't notice the loss of water pressure that
we did with our previous shower head. This works really well.
