Very nice sound quality for games, which is what I purchased it for. I
do not recommend for music. They are the most comfortable gaming
headphones I have used.
This headset does exactly what it says it will. The mic is good quality
and I love that it retracts into the left ear piece. The sound quality
is good when gaming, don't bother for music as the presence of any bass
will cause them to distort. That being said, they are the best headset
I've used for their stated purpose. I have a larger than average head
and these fit well, even when I am wearing glasses. They didn't become
uncomfortable at all in the 4 hours I wore them playing SC2. Lastly, if
you choose these because they support Team EG, let SteelSeries know.
Simply the greatest sounding, most comfortable headset I have ever
owned. I have had these for over a year now and use them for both work
at home conferences and gaming. EASILY installed and moved between my
laptop and PC as both USB or standard jack headphones. The mic is great
and the way it retracts into the ear piece is genius when I just want
to listen to music. For gaming, I simply have not heard better, crisper
sound. I am continually amazed at just how good they sound. They also
are light on the ears (over the ears) and you can still hear around you
in the room so you hear the phone, your wife, whatever... Great, GREAT
product. Buy it and you won't be disappointed.
